The Nepalese part of this mighty mountain range offers countless trekking opportunities that are truly an experience of a lifetime.

First stop: Kathmandu

Our journey begins in Kathmandu, the colorful and vibrant capital of Nepal. The city is a crossroads of cultures, religion and art, full of temples and old markets. After exploring the city, obtaining permits and buying the last necessities for the hike, we head into the mountains.

Into the heart of the Himalayas

Our first real Himalayan experience begins with a flight to Lukla, a small town that serves as the starting point for many treks. The view of the mountain peaks rising above the clouds is something you will remember forever.

Everest Base Camp Trek

One of the most famous treks in the Himalayas is the trek to Everest Base Camp. This trek is a true test of endurance and determination, but all the effort of this difficult journey is rewarded with incredible views of the highest mountain in the world. The route leads past suspension bridges, Sherpa villages, peaceful monasteries and mighty glaciers.

Annapurna Circuit

But if you’re looking for a slightly different experience, the Annapurna Circuit is one of the most beautiful and diverse trails in the Himalayas. The route takes you through lush forests, high mountain pastures, traditional villages and spectacular mountain passes.

Respect for nature and culture

Wherever you go in the Himalayas, it is important to respect nature and local culture. Always leave nature as you found it and learn a few words of the local languages to show respect for the people who live there.

Trekking in the Himalayas is truly an unforgettable experience. Whether you choose to trek to Everest Base Camp, Annapurna or any other route, you are sure to return with a sense of gratitude and admiration for these mighty mountains and the people who live there. The Himalayas are not only a hiker’s paradise, but also a place that teaches you humility, endurance and admiration for the wonders of nature.
